Dr. Philip Polus graduated from Indiana University and Indiana University School of Dentistry. He studied Gnathological Occlusion and Oral Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He is a member of The American Board of General Dentistry, Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and numerous others. He has completed over 3200 hours of continuing education and is passionate about delivering only the highest standard of dentistry for his patients.
Dr. Alexandra Polus graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2011 and earned her Prosthodontic certificate at University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry in 2014. She has extensive training in all phases of reconstructive dentistry. She completed a 3-year Prosthodontic residency at University of Illinois Chicago where she had extensive training in all phases of reconstructive dentistry, with an emphasis on the surgical placement and restoration of dental implants. As a specialist in Prosthodontics, she has the skills and expertise to restore broken, damaged or dysfunctional smiles and bring back a better quality of life for patients. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at University of Illinois Chicago where she teaches one day a week.
"If anyone is looking for a Dentist in the Crown Point area Dr. Polus & his daughter went above and beyond for me yesterday! I had the worst tooth pain and had to text him yesterday and he responded w/ a phone call right back. He was Downtown at a convention. On his way back he called me to check in and had me meet him at his office at 6 pm on Saturday night. He was so nice & caring! I have only been his patient for a year and am very happy I found him after searching for a dentist in Indiana for 10 years!!"
